Engine Packages
There are a whole number of reasons why you would want or need to have major engine works completed. Engine repairs as a result of a failure are the most obvious, but you might also want to upgrade your engine for efficiency and NA power, or with more robust components to handle the stresses created by forced induction and big power goals.
We have put together a few ‘makes sense’ packages that we have tried and tested and know offer solid value for money.
Factory Engine Repair Package
Failures don’t happen to the coyote often, but they can happen. We have carried out engine repairs for reasons ranging from bolts in the engine (seriously), bearing failure, even a snapped crankshaft and, of course, detonation.
However you wound up needing to read this, you will be pleased to know that repairing your existing engine can be the most cost-effective option in certain circumstances. This can only be determined on a case-by-case basis as levels of damage will determine what parts are required and, ultimately, how much a repair will cost.

Circuit Track Engine Package
For track enthusiasts seeking a responsive engine build, our Circuit Engine Build offers a technical solution tailored to track demands. This build integrates the NSR cams, specifically chosen for their ability to enhance engine responsiveness, allowing for quicker throttle reactions and higher rpm capabilities.
Beyond performance, durability is crucial for engines facing the demands of the circuit. That’s why this build also incorporates billet oil pump gear and crank gears. These components are engineered to withstand the stresses of consistently high RPMs, ensuring longevity even in the most demanding track conditions.

Boosted Street Engine Package
The Boosted Street Package offers a comprehensive engine upgrade tailored for performance enthusiasts. At its foundation are the oil pump gear (OPG) and crank gear (CG) — chosen for their capability to sustain the stress of boosted performance.
Critical to this package is a balanced rotating assembly, enhancing engine longevity and faster acceleration. This upgrade also integrates 11:1 forged pistons, rods, and crankshaft, ensuring the engine is capable of managing high-power applications, due to the standard Gen 3 Coyote engine being restricted by its 12:1 compression ratio. Topping off the build, we’ve included high-grade piston rings and an oil scraper ring, ensuring optimal compression and efficient oil management.

Boosted Power Engine Package
The Boosted Power Package is designed for those aiming to achieve high performance and reliability from their engine. At its base are the billet oil pump gear (OPG) and crank gear (CG) designed for durability under boosted conditions.
Further strengthening the package, we’ve included a balanced rotating assembly with forged pistons, rods, and crank. This provides the foundation to handle high power outputs.
But the difference in this package is the Modular Motorsport Racing (MMR) billet timing set. Unlike standard timing components that can be vulnerable under extreme conditions, the MMR billet timing set is designed to withstand the stresses of high-performance applications, all tried and tested in their 10,000rpm drag car! Also included in this package is a set of Comp Camshafts.

Mad Drag Engine Package
The Mad Drag Package is the solution for drag racing enthusiasts, building on the strengths of our Boosted Power Package. This upgrade includes 10:1 compression ratio pistons, this reduced compression ratio is designed to accommodate higher boost pressures without the risk of detonation, a common challenge in high-performance boosted engines. The inclusion of forced induction cams further complements this setup, ensuring valve events are fine-tuned for the demands of forced induction.
To ensure this package’s durability under these extreme conditions, we’ve incorporated uprated valves, providing resistance to the stresses of rapid RPM changes. Additionally, understanding the significant pressures and forces at play during drag races, the block has been sleeved. This enhancement fortifies the cylinder walls, protecting against excessive wear and potential damage.

Spec Your Own
Not everyone needs a full engine build, infact, in most instances if you fall into a catagory that requires an engine upgrade it is likely you don’t need your whole engine upgrading.
Oil Pump And Crank Gear Package
By far the most popular Coyote upgrade is to replace the factory powdered metal Oil Pump and Crank Gear sets. The factory components are susceptible to cracking in high horsepower and High RPM applications.

MMR Timing Assembly Package
The MMR timing assembly is a strong choice in increasing the strength of your engine, whether you are pushing high horsepower or high RPM, the billet oil pump gear, crank gear, timing chain tensioners, timing chain guides, and secondary chain inverter have you covered.

Cylinder Head Upgrades
Upgrading the heads is crucial for performance; cams increase flow into the engine giving you more power, valve springs ensure no power is lost due to valve float and having ported heads means flow can be increased even further.
Camshaft Upgrades
When it comes to cams, we suggest Comp Cams, tried and tested; we believe their range will have you covered no matter your application.

Select from our range of rotating assemblies, which include our tried and tested choice of pistons, connecting rods, and crankshaft. We provide two specific choices, so determining your ultimate objectives is vital when making this decision.
1000hp Forged Package
Our most sought-after package features the OEM crankshaft, which has consistently demonstrated its reliability in high-power scenarios, even surpassing the impressive 1000bhp mark.
However, it’s essential to note that power isn’t the only factor when choosing a rotating assembly. While a 1000bhp street car may not miss a beat with the OEM crankshaft, if you’re gearing up a fully optimized drag racing beast designed for maximum traction, it might be wise to look into our 1500bhp package that comes with the MMR billet crankshaft.

OEM Factory Block
Don’t underestimate the factory block. It’s been the backbone of all our 1000bhp builds, and remarkably, it’s one part we’ve not yet seen fail.
MMR Sleeved block
MMR’s sleeved coyote block for your coyote utilises double-thick ductile iron sleeves, offering extreme strength and reliability, the ductile iron sleeve also ensures an enhanced ring seal. Typically with the factory block when pushing beyond 1000WHP you are at risk of cracking the block. This has been tested to manage 2000+RWHP and remains as street-friendly as any standard block!
MMR Billet Block
The MMR Gen-X block is for those constructing the highest performance Coyote engine. Tailored for enthusiasts aiming for a power of up to 4000HP. This block has showcased its capability by clocking mid 5-second runs on the 1/4 mile. Made from aerospace/military-grade Billet alloy, it offers extreme strength, even when compared to traditional sleeved factory castings.
