Every APR lowering spring is designed in-house and manufactured in the USA from premium high-tensile chrome silicon steel, offering excellent resistance to sagging and fatigue for years of reliable performance. Each spring is finished with a durable powder coating in our signature red colour, providing extra protection against the elements.
The front and rear springs use a dual-rate design that behaves as a single-rate, linear spring under normal driving loads — giving you predictable, consistent handling in everyday conditions.
Please note: all centre-of-wheel-to-fender (CF) measurements were recorded on our in-house US-spec 2022 MK8 Golf R (DCC) test vehicles and may vary slightly from vehicle to vehicle. While this lowering spring kit was designed specifically for the MK8 Golf R, it will also fit other similar platform vehicles.
