Traditional ECU tuning is currently not possible on the latest Bosch MG1 control units, as security has been significantly enhanced since mid-2020. The F90 M5 Competition utilises this updated ECU platform. However, we offer a full unlock service that enables custom tuning, live data logging, fault-code reading, and additional functionality. The ECU can also be returned to stock settings at any time, should you wish to install BMW remote software updates.
Power delivery can be instantly adjusted via the BMW drive modes, allowing you to tailor performance to suit road and weather conditions. Even with the OPF filters and factory exhaust system retained, our custom Stage 1 calibration delivers exceptional gains in both power and torque, completely transforming the performance of the F90 M5 Competition.
