This JLT cold air intake gives the 5.0L V8 in your Mustang Mach 1 room to breathe, replacing the restrictive factory airbox with a system engineered specifically for more airflow and a cleaner throttle response. Every part is computer-designed for a precise fit under the bonnet, and the intake tube itself is finished in OEM-style black textured plastic — unpainted, understated, and right at home next to the rest of the engine bay.
It’s a genuine bolt-on kit: no cutting, no permanent modifications, and everything you need is included. That includes the JLT plastic intake tube (120mm MAF sizing), a silicone reducer coupler, a heat shield complete with duct and weather-strip, heavy-duty clamps, and all the fitting hardware. JLT also throw in a top-spec S&B Power Stack air filter, built to exact spec for a perfect seal — tapered design, filtered Power Stack ends, and a 5″ tube opening to suit the sheer size of the filter this intake calls for. End result: a 5″ x 7″ filter with a built-in screen that keeps airflow straight and clean as it passes through the precisely moulded 120mm MAF housing.
