Supercharger Pulley Kit 2015 & Newer Hellcat Challenger & Hellcat Charger, Trackhawk, Demon, Redeye, Durango, and TRX Applications

Metco Motorsports offers the original precision-made supercharger pulley upgrade for the Hellcat! Like all Metco Motorsports pulleys, this pulley is an interchangeable unit that features a precision-machined, stainless-steel pulley hub, an interchangeable pulley drive ring, and a stock-appearing front pulley cover.  The pulley ring and cover are anodised in black, and all included fasteners are stainless steel or zinc plated.  All components are precision-machined on a state-of-the-art CNC lathe and are perfectly balanced to ensure smooth operation at all engine speeds and to maximise reliability.

These pulleys are manufactured with great care, and special attention is paid to the shape, height, and spacing of the pulley grooves to ensure maximum belt engagement. This extra effort makes it unnecessary to add a textured surface to the pulley ring, as these coatings contribute to belt noise, belt dust, and they rapidly accelerate belt wear.

Please choose your desired pulley ring size from the drop-down list below.  All components are available separately, so once you have our pulley on your Hellcat, a boost change is as simple as changing the outer pulley drive ring.  All boost level changes require the appropriate PCM revisions and the proper supercharger belt.  Please note that quoted boost gains are approximate, and that your results may vary.  The 2.85″ and larger pulleys are designed for street applications, while the 2.75″ and smaller pulleys are intended for racing applications or those using supplemental injection. Please consult your tuner for a specific recommendation.  Note that quoted boost gains will be higher in Demon and Redeye applications as a result of the larger supercharger used in these vehicles.

 *The Gates K100572HD belt is appropriate for applications using the 2.85″, 2.75″ or 2.65″ supercharger pulley.

Note:  The original supercharger pulley threads off the blower shaft once the top of the supercharger has been removed and the snout separated from the case.  We manufacture a steel insert that accepts a 15/16″ wrench or socket just to unthread the original pulley, available separately under part number HPT1000, or in the drop-down below.  The unique Metco pulley hub design incorporates a similar 1″ hex, so a wrench or socket can be used on the pulley hub itself for installation.  The Pin Holding Tool (PN HPT2000, described elsewhere in this section) is also available to assist in holding the supercharger pulley shaft stationary. At the same time, the hex tool is used to unscrew the original supercharger pulley.  The Pin Holding Tool requires the optional adapter (HPT2001) to properly fit the larger supercharger used in the Demon and Redeye applications.

This pulley is intended for professional installation only. The upper portion of the supercharger must be disassembled so the supercharger snout can be removed.  Installation instructions are not provided.

When the supercharger pulley is changed, the PCM calibration requires revisions to accommodate the increased level of airflow.  However, some installers have used the 3.10″ and 3.20″ sizes with excellent results, without revising the PCM tune.  We always suggest looking at the tune after the pulley change to confirm proper air/fuel and timing calibrations, in the interest of maximising reliability and longevity.

Note:  Despite the claims made by another pulley ‘manufacturer’, the (6) bolts that secure the pulley ring to the pulley hub do not bear the load imparted by the supercharger belt.  The belt pulls the pulley in a downward direction, and the ID of the pulley ring, which is in contact with the mating surface of the pulley hub, is the designated location for the belt load.  This specific design has been in use for over 20 years without failure in all types of severe-duty applications.  Anyone who claims that the fasteners bear the load does not correctly understand the dynamics of a supercharger drive.
