During high-performance driving or warm track days, the small factory heat exchanger quickly becomes heat-soaked, causing the ECU to pull timing and reduce power. APR’s upgraded intercooler solves this bottleneck by drastically expanding cooling surface area and fluid capacity.
Engineered for Maximum Thermal Efficiency
Featuring a heavy-duty aluminium core with high-density cooling fins and cast aluminium end tanks, this system maximises heat dissipation while maintaining optimal frontal airflow to the engine radiator. The enlarged internal passages reduce the pressure drop across the charge air system by 33%, allowing the twin turbochargers to operate under far less strain while delivering cooler, denser air to the engine.
