This system retains the stock emission-related components, including standard cats & GPF / OPF.
There is no requirement for an ECU tune and no CEL light.
The exhaust is a simple bolt-on bolt-off fitment compatible with stock tips.
The vacuum valves are controlled using the existing Porsche system.
The valves’ operation is dependent on the driving mode and whether the in-car exhaust valve button is selected.
– Valves closed quiet sound is achieved for cruising conditions
– Valves open, the sound is louder for spirited driving and BRE soundtrack
Please also note that the 718 is prone to boom at low RPM when an aftermarket system is installed. This is apparent more on the PDK as it forces you into a higher gear and, therefore, low RPM. This is reduced on the manual or PDK (manual) as the revs increase; it is not apparent.
With only the BRE rear setup, no ECU tune and no CEL warning light are required.
