Manta long-tube headers are the quickest way to unlock naturally aspirated power from your UK S650 Mustang GT or Dark Horse. Manta are an Australian manufacturer, and Australia is a right-hand-drive market, so these headers are engineered for RHD cars from the start, not adapted from a left-hand-drive design. They route properly around the RHD steering rack, put the O2 sensors in the right place, and fit cleanly first time.

Why Long-Tube Headers?
The factory exhaust manifolds are the most restrictive part of the S650’s exhaust path. Replacing them with free-flowing 1-7/8″ mandrel-bent primaries is the single most effective naturally aspirated upgrade for the Coyote 5.0 V8. You get more mid-range torque, stronger top-end power, and the V8 sound the factory system holds back.

The Manta cats are rated to 500 WHP, which is ideal for naturally aspirated builds, including Stage 3. If you plan to supercharge your S650, choose the Kooks RHD headers instead. Their Green Cats are rated to 750 WHP, so they can stay on the car when you add boost.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will these fit my UK RHD Mustang?
Yes. Manta engineer every system for right-hand drive as standard. The S650 kit routes correctly around the RHD steering rack and positions the O2 sensors correctly for a clean, leak-free installation on UK-spec cars.
Do these headers need a tune?
Yes. Long-tube headers change how the engine breathes, so a custom tune is needed to get the full benefit and avoid O2 sensor fault codes. The kit includes O2 sensor extension harnesses, but a tune is still required. Our Stage 3 NA Package includes fitting and a live dyno tune.
Will fitting these cause warning lights?
Without a tune, yes: the change in O2 sensor readings will trigger fault codes. With a proper custom tune, the car runs cleanly without warning lights.
How much power will these add?
With a supporting tune, long-tube headers typically add 30–50 bhp on the S650 Coyote V8, depending on the tune and other modifications. As part of our Stage 3 NA Package with a cold air intake and custom tune, 530–550 bhp from the stock engine is achievable.
Are these headers ceramic coated?
No, these are bare stainless steel. Ceramic coating mainly helps with under-bonnet heat. It doesn’t change flow or power, so for most road and track day use the stainless version performs excellently.
Can I supercharge my car later with these fitted?
The Manta cats are rated to 500 WHP, so they’re not intended for supercharged power levels. If boost is in your plans, choose the Kooks RHD headers, rated to 750 WHP.
Will these work with my existing cat-back exhaust?
Yes. The headers connect to standard cat-back systems, whether you have the factory active exhaust or an aftermarket cat-back. Get in touch if you’re unsure about your setup.
