A Supercharger Kit Built for UK-Spec Mustangs
Most supercharger kits for the S650 Mustang are developed for American cars. UK and European Mustang GTs and Dark Horses are built to EU 6.2 emissions standards and carry a gasoline particulate filter (GPF), so they need a kit developed for that setup.
This Roush Phase 1 kit was created for exactly these cars through an exclusive partnership between Roush Performance and Motorsport and Performance (MAP). It’s the straightforward way to supercharge a UK-spec 2024-onward Mustang GT or Mustang Dark Horse, taking the 5.0 V8 to 700+ hp and 600 lb-ft*.
How It Makes the Power
At the heart of the kit is a front-drive TVS R2650 supercharger with a dual front inlet and high-flow inlet port, developed with Magnuson Superchargers. The blower sits in an inverted layout that makes room for twin high-efficiency intercoolers, keeping intake air temperatures down so the power stays consistent.
The factory twin 80mm throttle bodies are retained, so the engine bay keeps its symmetrical look. High-flow dual-cone injectors and custom billet fuel rails supply the extra fuel, and the belt drive sits close to the engine for efficient, smooth delivery.
Designed to Be Fitted Properly
A large front heat exchanger lowers intercooler temperatures without restricting the car’s cooling pack, and a high-capacity degas bottle stops the coolant from aerating. The kit fits under the factory bonnet and K-brace without modification, with plug-and-play wiring. It also comes with colder-heat-range Ford Performance spark plugs and Roush’s diagnostic and tuning software.
Fitting at Motorsport and Performance
We can supply the kit on its own, but most customers have it fitted by us at our workshop in Birstall, West Yorkshire. Every installation is checked and verified on our Dyno Dynamics rolling road, so you know exactly what your car is making. Find out more about our fitting service.
Complete the Setup
- Air intake (recommended): the supercharger kit doesn’t include an air intake, so we recommend pairing it with the Roush 5.0L V8 Air Intake System (ROU-422334). Its high-flow filters feed air through the factory MAF housing, and the clear-windowed lids show off the red Roush filters and let you see when they need servicing. Fitting both together completes the Roush setup in one visit.
- Long-tube headers: our Kooks RHD long-tube headers have Green Cats rated to 750 WHP, so they’re built to handle supercharged power levels.

What fuel should I use?
Roush’s power figures are measured on 93-octane fuel, which is roughly equivalent to UK 98 RON super unleaded. We recommend running 98 RON.
Can I buy the kit supply-only?
Yes, but we recommend having it fitted by us. Every installation we carry out is checked and verified on our dyno, so you know exactly what your car is making.
Can I add long-tube headers?
Yes. Our Kooks RHD long-tube headers have Green Cats rated to 750 WHP, so they’re designed to handle supercharged power. Talk to us about fitting them alongside the supercharger.
