Description
Leave the starting line faster and reduce wheel hop when launching with Steeda upgraded Billet Aluminium Vertical Links. These Steeda vertical links are CNC machined from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminium and use CNC machined Delrin bushings or Polyurethane Bushings to prevent or minimise any flex in the vertical links that would contribute to wheel hop.
Wheel hop is generated when the tires of your S650 Mustang or GT500 lose traction and suddenly regain traction. Flex in the suspension can change the angle of toe and contributes to the loss of traction and amplifies the wheel hop when you launch. By reducing or eliminating the flex in the IRS of the S550/S650 platform, you can launch smooth and safe without wheel hop.
Precise machining and sturdy construction that you can trust. The Steeda aluminium vertical links and Delrin bushings are CNC machined to precise measurements in order to maintain the OE suspension geometry and retain the incredible handling that the Mustang/GT500 offers.
Heavy-duty materials used and ensure a durable part. The vertical links are made from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminium for a lightweight and strong product. The Delrin bushings reduce flex, have high tensile strength, and have a natural lubricity. Billet steel bushing sleeves and spacers provide additional strength and durability.
Our Polybush variant gives more compliance and hence is the perfect answer for the street and track user.
